Dancing Girls
Creator: Carl Milles
Date: 1912-1913, acquired by Cranbrook in 1934
Medium: bronze
Notes: Direct quote from Carl Milles: "I made the dancing girls in plaster about 1913 and exhibited them at Malmo, Sweden, in the Baltic Exhibit, which included Sweden, Denmark, Germany and Russia. I also had other things there, and had a special room for my works. That was in 1913. In spite of the number of things exhibited at Malmo nothing was purchased because of the War!"
